Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 June 2026This policy explains how Nadine Benjamin ("I", "me", "my"), a freelance Brand & Marketing Strategist based in London, United Kingdom, collects, uses, and protects personal data submitted through this website. For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, I am the data controller.
What information I collect
When you submit the enquiry form on this website, I collect the information you provide directly: full name, organisation or company name, professional email address, company website (optional), enquiry type, estimated budget, project timeline, and the content of your message. If you sign up to the newsletter via the form in the website footer, I collect only your email address. I do not use cookies or similar technology to collect personal data for advertising or tracking purposes — see the Cookie Notice for full details of what this site does use.
How I use your information
Enquiry information is used to respond to your enquiry, assess whether I can help with your brief, and, where an engagement proceeds, to deliver and invoice that work. The lawful bases relied on are legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), and performance of a contract where an engagement is agreed (Article 6(1)(b)). Newsletter sign-up email addresses are used only to send occasional insight on brand and marketing strategy, on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), and you may withdraw that consent at any time by unsubscribing.
How your enquiry and newsletter sign-up are processed
Enquiry form and newsletter sign-up submissions are processed by Formspree, Inc., a third-party form-processing service, which receives your submission and forwards it so that I can respond or add you to the newsletter list. Formspree may process this data outside the UK or EEA; details of their own safeguards are available in Formspree's privacy policy.
How long I keep your information
Enquiry details are kept only for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry. Where an engagement proceeds, information is retained for the duration of that engagement and afterwards as required for accounting, tax, and legal purposes — normally up to six years. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within a reasonable period, typically within 12 months. Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data I hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict or object to processing; and request portability of your data. To exercise any of these rights, please get in touch via the enquiry form on the homepage, stating "Data Protection Request" in your message.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how your personal data has been handled, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's independent data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or by telephone on 0303 123 1113.
